Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy Laboratory

The Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy Laboratory specializes in the measurement of over 24 elements. This is achieved through the use of atomic absorption spectrophotometry, employing three methods: graphite furnace, flame and hydride generator, and atomic emission spectroscopy system. The laboratory can accurately measure a variety of metals, with the following being the most significant: Sodium (Na), potassium (K), lithium (Li), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), chromium (Cr), tin (Sn), selenium (Se), arsenic (As), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), barium (Ba), and many others.
